The terminal follows precisely the rules of the ISPS CODE – international ship and port facility security code since 2005.

The ISPS CODE was established after 09/11 terrorist attacks by the IMO - International Maritime Organization and was signed by 166 countries.

This certification is issued only to terminals that follow the isps requirements which aim to combat terrorism at sea, drugs, weapons and threats.

The maritime passengers Terminal Giusfredo Santini – Concais is certified by NBR ISO 9001:2015, international regulation that establishes the implementation of the integrated managment system. Concais is the first maritime terminal in Brazil to receive this certification.

The terminal works for the excellence in its procedures and for that reason the importance of having an iso certification. The process are clear to the market, shipowners and service suppliers. Based on eight management principles, this certification means that the company has integrated procedures with trained employess focusing on the customer’s satisfaction and the company goals.

Concais is the first maritime passengers terminal certified by ISO 14001:2015, international regulation that defines the requirements to initiate an environmental management system by Bureau Veritas Organization.

It took 3 years to conquer the certification.
The Terminal implemented the activities and mainly performed an important environmental awareness where all the company participated to achieve the certifications and being part of succesful group that colaborates for a better world.

This regulation is a tool created to help companies to give more attention to relevant matters to their business. ISO 14001 demands that companies commit to the prevention of pollution and continuous improvement as part of the business management.

The Terminal received the OSHAS 18001:2007 by Bureau Veritas Organization being the first maritime passengers terminal to achieve this certification in Brazil.

OSHAS 18001:2007 establishes the requirements to a a health and safety management system that prevents damage to the physical integrity of the employees.
